HARTLAND, NORTH DEVON

The Hartland Peninsula with its distinctive yellow gorse and green fields, purple and pink heathers on coastal heathland. Deep blue Atlantic water turning white at the rock face and beaches of grey, brown and slate twisting and folding along the shore.

The wild beauty of this area resonates and acts as an emotional echo chamber. A beautiful place conjuring up a complex interaction of personal memory, aesthetic appreciation and ecological awareness.
